Skilld

What does Skilld do?

Skilld turns recurring operational decisions into automatic, auditable, sub-second responses. We deploy and operate Plasma — a sovereign, open-source platform — on your infrastructure, so the system perceives, decides, acts and learns.

How is this different from BI, RPA or an AI copilot?

BI tells you what happened. RPA executes what you scheduled. AI copilots suggest. Plasma detects the situation, selects the policy, executes the decision, and logs the full trace — the machine executes, humans govern.

Will Plasma replace my people?

No. We don't build machines that replace people — we build operations where humans decide and the system executes. Your team sets the intent and the policies; the platform carries them out continuously, at the speed of the data. Autonomy is not replacement: the operator stops intervening, but never stops deciding. Judgment stays human; execution becomes tireless.

How long does it take to deploy?

First situation in production in about 6 weeks: Map (day 1) → Observe and Propose (weeks 1–4) → Transfer authority (week 6).

How much does it cost?

From 5K€/month (Operate), 10K€/month (Scale), from 20K€/month (Transform). Plasma itself is open-source and free — Skilld operates it for you.

What is the AI Canvas — and is the audit really free?

The AI Canvas is Skilld's structured methodology to succeed in your Data/AI transformation — a journey from strategic vision to AI Act compliance. It starts with a free audit: describe your context, and we map your situations and prioritize use cases. The workshop also qualifies for BPIFrance Diag Data/IA funding.

How does Skilld work with my team?

As a co-builder, not a vendor. One Skilld engineer works alongside one domain expert from your team, with senior strategic follow-up — co-construction at every level. Your team names the situations, defines the policies, validates in Propose mode and owns the authority boundary; Skilld connects the data sources, deploys the platform, configures the ontology and documents everything. Your team learns and the system transfers — afterwards you can fly solo or keep building with us.

Can the transformation be funded?

Often, yes. The AI Canvas qualifies for BPIFrance Diag Data/IA, which subsidizes up to 50% of strategic AI diagnosis for SMEs and mid-market companies. Plasma deployments may also qualify for R&D tax credits (France CIR — 30% of eligible R&D; WBSO in the Netherlands; ZIM in Germany; Transizione 4.0 in Italy) and EU-level programs (Digital Europe, Horizon Europe / EIC, GenAI4EU). We assess eligibility with you.

Plasma

What is Plasma?

Plasma is the open-source platform Skilld deploys to turn decisions into action. It detects the situation, selects the policy, executes the decision, logs the trace, and learns from the outcome — deterministic, auditable, sovereign.

What can Plasma act on?

From any source to any decision. Your systems flow into Plasma; decisions flow back out. The same shape works across very different worlds — Akiem (transport), ZE Energy, Grand Musique Management, Lemissa.

How does the system earn the right to act on its own?

Through three stages of authority transfer. Observe: it detects situations alongside your team and logs the decisions it would make, taking no action. Propose: it suggests actions your team validates, each one traced and scored. Execute: your team promotes it to act under pre-approved policy, with a full trace — demote in one click if the situation changes. Promotion is a policy decision your team owns, not a configuration toggle.

Is it deterministic or generative AI — a black box?

Neither blindly. The boundary between deterministic computation and generative interpretation is explicit and traceable — no black box where it matters. The system earns authority through evidence over time, never a leap of faith.

Is my data sovereign? Where is it hosted?

Yes. Plasma is EUPL open-source and runs on infrastructure you choose — Scaleway, OVH, Hetzner, on-premise. On these sovereign hosts, no US-controlled entity sits in the chain: CLOUD Act immune. Your data never leaves your jurisdiction.

What does "sovereign by design" mean?

Your data, your infrastructure, your code. Plasma is EUPL open-source — audit, fork, extend it. Host it on sovereign infrastructure (Scaleway, OVH, Hetzner, on-premise, even air-gapped), in your own jurisdiction: CLOUD Act immune. No lock-in: Plasma integrates on top of an existing data stack, or becomes the stack itself.

Do we get locked in?

No. Plasma is open-source (EUPL) — you own the platform and everything we build with you. No vendor lock-in.

Is Plasma research-backed?

Yes. Its architecture comes from an active research program (CIR) on trust in human-machine collaboration — studying why naive generative AI fails to earn adoption in real operations, and designed to solve exactly that. A research-backed platform, not another AI demo.

Plasma Cloud

What is Plasma Cloud?

Fully managed Plasma operated by Skilld: sovereign hosting, SRE, updates, monitoring and 24/7 support, under SLA.

What does Plasma Cloud cost?

15 000€ one-time setup, then per node/month: Standard 500€, Cognition 700€, AI node 2 000€, Advanced AI node 4 000€.

Can Skilld operate a platform I built myself?

Yes — that's the core of Plasma Cloud. You build and own your deployment; we run day-2 operations (uptime, updates, observability, incident response) under SLA.

What's included in the SLA?

99.9% uptime, 24/7 monitoring and on-call, security patches, snapshots and resilient storage, incident response and support.

Where is it hosted?

On sovereign infrastructure of your choice — Scaleway, OVH, Hetzner or on-premise. You keep ownership and data sovereignty.
